Angi5The service was terrific. The tech arrived a couple of hours after I called to schedule an appointment (call myself very lucky). David quickly diagnosed the problems with my garage doors, recommended the repairs, gave an estimate and proceeded to finish up in a little over an hour. I also got a call back from the office to ask of everything had been taken care of to my satisfaction. Highly recommend Affordable Doors! Services Rendered: Replacing springs and rollers for two garage doors. Tune up also for both.

Angi5The service went well! The technician arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the issue and made the adjustments necessary to make the door fully operational again. He also provided some advice regarding the existing garage door opener maintenance, and advised to developable plan to replace the current unit as it’s over 10 years old. Services Rendered: The garage door would sometimes failed to close. It would begin closing, reach about 25% closed, and then reopen. If you try again, it might close 75% and then reopen.

Yelp5Needed some repairs to our garage door when moving into a new residence. Affordable Door had availability the next day. Technician was right on time and got right to work. He was very willing to explain the work that he was doing and pointed out some safety issues that he was able to take care during the service call. We needed support struts and glass to repair previous damage and they were able to order and repair the next day. He even helped me program my garage openers and explained full functionality. Very satisfied. Highly recommend.

Having used this company in the past to install garage door opener & repair my springs, I was pleased to have them to reach back out to - this time for a replacement keypad opener. It was super super simple to schedule; the technician showed up on time and completed the job and short order and a good price. he then recommended that I replace the seal along the bottom and put some weatherstripping on the perimeter of the door; so they came back shortly after to do that work. Overall very pleased with the service of the scheduling team and both technicians. Highly recommended and will be back the next time I need this type of work done! Google5Our experience with Affordable Door has been excellent. From the meeting with David Fields, general manager who gave us the quote to the folks who scheduled the work and finally the installers, everyone was pleasant to work with. They were efficient, they gave us what we felt was a very reasonable price and we were able to schedule the installation within 1 week of the initial call. The door looks great and with the new motor is much quieter and our garage is much warmer with the added insulation. Thanks again Affordable Door.

Google5I have used their services twice before, once to install 5 garage doors and now to install 2 odd sized big garage doors. Their price beat other company's prices by big margins and their service was unequalled. David the owner was great to work with and he responded timely and made sure both jobs were done appropriately. I am a contractor and they are my to-go-to garage door company whether it's new installation or servicing existing doors. Choose them and you'll be glad you did.

Google4We used Affordable Door for a full garage door replacement, along with a new opener. Their prices are great, and there are a lot of options! However, communication with the sales staff leaves a lot to be desired. Our installer was also pleasant and efficient.

The technicians are always pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. Spot on. When I need garage door services I am always confident it will go well. We love you guys (and gals)!

Since the hardware on the door was no longer manufactured it needed to be converted to a different type. We also had the hardware on the other door converted the following week. We were given a 3 hr window for the service and Mauricio showed up within the first hour.When finished he showed us what he did and answered our questions. Angi5This company was the first to call me after I submitted my order. I was surprised that they were calling from Virginia when I lives in Maryland but just because I felt confident in the conversation I had with the person online I contracted at that time. My installer Mauricio was there on time and repaired my door in a short time. Mauricio also took the time to share maintenance tips relating to my door. Just to add, I did contact several local shops prior to signing up on Angie's and their prices was listed much higher. Services Rendered: Replaced broken spring

Yelp1Affordable door promised delivery of a new door in 4-5 weeks. When asked if it might take longer, the response was "I don't know any reason why it should". After 4 weeks, I sent an email inquiring about delivery and received no response. At 5 weeks I called the office and was informed that it will be 12 more weeks! These people are not to be trusted.

Google5Had an excellent experience with Affordable Door. Their communication was great and scheduling was easy. They came out and restored my door to functioning during the initial assessment in under an hour. They came out in short order to complete the repair. The technician noticed the part they were going to install was defective, notified me and came out the next day to finish. On top of the attention to detail the total price was a lot less than expected. Would work with them again.

Yelp1Do not use this company! I paid them 50% of the total cost as a down payment. They now won't get back to me to do the simple panel replacement and when I've called to inquire about it, they've never called me back. After over a year of calling, I asked for a refund which they refuse to give. I've reported to the Better Business Bureau and they wont' respond to them either.

BBB5Salesman was polite, on time, and efficient (had his estimate done quickly). The work was able to be done the next day (supplies were in stock!), which helped us get back into our garage as soon as possible. The installers arrived early in the timeframe estimate and completed their work quickly. They cleaned up completely, and we are very pleased with the work and especially with the price we were quoted! We will be recommending this company to anyone who asks us!

Google3Having a horrible experience with Affordable Doors. I had them come out and convert my two car garage to one door back in May 25th 2023. Everything was completed with some minor issues that has not been resolved which is going on for 5 weeks. Trim on top of garage door has three cut pieces instead of one long piece, along with the sides and top not matching the rest of the trim around the garage door. I have called them every week to see if they can get me on schedule to fix this punch-list, but nothing as of yet. They keep giving me the run around telling me they are trying to get me on schedule. Beside the trim, you can see a minor bowing on the garage top where the LVL beam. They also left a lot of nails behind which my kids and I had to clean up. Looking at the construction team, they use subcontractors as their team, with a couple in house project managers. Will update regarding my trims, but this has been ongoing. UPDATE*** Tech is coming out tomorrow to redo the trimming on our garage door. Will update more tomorrow.

Yelp5We recently purchased new garage doors from Affordable Door and are so pleased with the entire process. Mauricio Villatoro came to do the estimate and listened very carefully to what we wanted. It was reassuring that he came back and did the installation because we knew he was detailed oriented. We got exactly what we asked for. The installation was fast and efficient and there wasn't even dust left when the clean up was finished. Mr. Villatoro and Affordable Door get our highest recommendation.

BBB5We experienced a slight problem with our garage door opening and closing. Our repair man, David, was prompt, quick to recognize our problem and very thorough in explaining the fix needed. He completed the fix in short order! He pointed out the fact that we have an very old door opener that may need to be replaced shortly. At my request, he provide information on the cost, opener manufacturers and improvements that should be made in the way our opener is installed. A note worth mentioning is that David was courteous, well dressed and a good communicator.

BBB5Starting with my first contact with the office everyone was helpful, patient with me and answered all of my questions. The installers arrived on schedule and completed the job in approximately three hours. This included installing two doors and one opener. Very efficient and also the clean up was through. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Yelp3After researching a variety of companies to determine a fair and reasonable price to replace two garage doors, I decided to use Affordable Door. The website was easy to use to make selections and view how the doors would look on my garage. After making the selection of type of doors and colors, I placed the orders online. Calling Affordable Door to make some adjustments and work with them while the HOA was approving the modifications to my home was easy with no fuss. The doors were in stock and the installation date was established. The installation seemed to have gone well and only took a few hours. A few weeks later, I was having one of the garage door openers worked on, which was installed by another company. The tech pointed out several flaws in the installation which were evident to anyone but a layman, like me. One of the doors was installed with a tilt to one side and the other door was installed with a large gap between the door and the track which causes it to have a precarious connection to the roller. Also, with these types of doors, a seal is needed which means the door frames need modification. The seals were installed without modifications to the doors which actually takes away some clearance for car entry and departure. I called Affordable Door to set up an appointment for the corrections. The rep provided a time and I mentioned I had to check my schedule for the time she provided. After checking, I said the time was acceptable. Here comes the day when the tech is due to show and, lo and behold, no show. I called Affordable Door to determine what happened and was told I cancelled the appointment. Totally incorrect. Why cancel it without rescheduling? Needless to say, if I had not called, I would have been left hanging with an unacceptable door installation. I asked the rep to put me on schedule which was not a time which is totally what I wanted. The work needed to make the repairs on my garage doors will take a few hours so end of the day appointments are not ideal as I suspect the techs are rushed and probably overworked. Also, it seems they only schedule appointments for 0900-1200 and 1500-1800. What happens 1300-1500? Recommend more flexible scheduling and FOLLOWUP with appointments. Sales reps, two thumbs up. Scheduling and installation, jury is still out on this one.

Yelp5Wanted a new garage door. Everything at Home Depot was not right color or would take 8+ weeks to order. Got Affordable Door recommendation off Home Advisor. Loved that they communicated via text. Not thrilled I needed a guy to come out but employee came out I think the very next day after I asked. He was very chill, showed me what they already had in stock at their warehouse. Had exactly what I needed. Due to a cancellation they offered to install it The Next Day! Which I couldn't do because of work but their next availability was maybe 3 days later. Guys showed up (though they didn't call when they were en route which bugged me slightly) and set it up. There was some issue with the new door not closing 100% so they had to return next day to switch out a part but after that it looks amazing! Super easy company to work with. I don't do Yelp reviews but thought I would for this one since I had a good experience.
