They came to my house looked measured everything gave us a book to pick out what we wanted ordered them and gave us a date when they'll be in and installed great customer service
(follow up review) One of two of my barn doors was fixed with a part for the receiver on the unit. The part, the visit, and two remotes was just under $700.00. They let me know by phone after the work was done and informed me they would research what was needed to fix the other door. They never did. I called again about a month later and set up a time for them to meet at 0830 at the property. I had my 80 year old dad travel from his home to meet the technician at 0830. They never showed and did not call despite having his name and number, they did not call me either. It was not until my dad called that he found out we were now 4th or 5th in line. I will never use this company again. Nice people, incredibly awful service. (initial review) Called on a Wednesday and was told I'd be called back with further details. It's now Saturday and I just tried calling again and "the machine is off". I'm the guy in Cape Vincent, last two of my phone are 31. It is not a 315 area code. I'm giving two stars because at least the initial person I dealt with seemed pleasant enough.
We order garage doors and the owner ordered the wrong ones, they were reordered and they were damaged In a matter of two years and no returned phones calls. It was I a bad experience and the owner is a person whom puts money before customers. I would tell everyone not to use them. You will not get what you paid for
I have used them for years with fair results. They are competitive, and I believe them to be honest. I have issues with lost attention to detail ...and sometimes calls or left messages not returned. I spite of issues I like the people and will do business with them again.
I called Thursday for appointment to fix broken door spring. Told it would be following Tuesday pm. No one turned up. No calls telling me they would be late or need to reschedule. I had to call them Wednesday to let them know they had not even attended. Took two calls from me to get them to reset another time which was vague. Not confident they will keep this time either so I cancelled and got better service from 'Northern NY Garage Door' Co. I used Overhead Door Co a few years ago and was happy. Now am disappointed with them.
Amazing service. Instead of having to come out to look at our garage door, they walked us through potential solutions over the phone. Within 5 minutes of requesting a call, it was fixed! Will definitely use them in the future should anything happen. Thank you!
My torsion spring snapped after 17 years. I Called on a Friday, close to their closing time. They quoted me a fair price for repairs and came the next business day to replace it.
I had a dead battery in a remote at least 20 years old. It wouldn't work with the new battery. I called ODC Watertown. The gentleman on the phone walked me through the process with patience. Tried 3-4 things before we got it right. Fantastic, kind service.
We are waiting for a new door to come in now. They are going to come and put in on. They haven't taken the old garage door yet because we are waiting for the new door to come in. We've always been satisfied with what they've used. They are responsible and I've been totally satisfied. Services Rendered: We have used Overhead Door for garage doors.
