Angi5I called the Stevens Point office this morning and spoke with Glenn. He went above and beyond to explain what was most likely wrong with my garage door opener and how I might try fixing it. He was respectful and patient, and explained the problem in an understandable manner. He did not try to force a service call on me, which I appreciated. I will certainly contact Lakeland Overhead Door, Stevens Point office, in the future if my repair isn't successful and for other garage door needs. Glenn is a shining star! Services Rendered: Advice on 20 year old garage door opener repair

Angi5This company is very responsive and customer-oriented! I had a problem with my garage door after sweeping out the garage. I must have mis-aligned the electronic eyes during my sweeping process. I called Overhead Door (a company that I found on Angie's List), and described my problem. The dispatcher said a technician would come at the end of the day. I was fine with that. However, an hour later, I got a call from one of the men in the office, who said it seemed like a simple problem, and did I want him to stop by in a few minutes to look at it. I said yes, and about 15 minutes later, he showed up. He said the technicians were very busy, and he thought he could fix my problem, so he wanted to try and save one of the technicians a trip out. He was able to fix the door, and then he proceeded to lubricate all the wheels and springs. When he was done, I asked whether he would bill me or did he want payment right then. He said, "Oh, no payment. This was a simple job." When I tried to give him $20 for his trouble, he wouldn't even take that! I promised him I would call if I ever had a big job to do, like replacing the door or opener. Services Rendered: Re-aligned the electronic eyes for my garage door so it would close properly, plus lubricated the springs and wheels.

Angi5Getting work done right at a fair price is difficult in the Northwoods, but these guys did great. The product, price, timing, and communication were top notch. Everyone is helpful, regardless of their job at the company. Services Rendered: Sold and installed a garage door.

Angi5They were great to work with. Services Rendered: George came out and gave me an estimate and options for my new garage door. After I chose my color he ordered it and it was installed very quickly.
