Needed a repair due to a broken spring and Owen came the next day and made the replacement of both springs with new ones that carry a 10 year replacement warranty. He tuned up my 25 year old garage door and now everything is running smoothly and efficiently. He took away all the old parts and cleaned up the work area. All in all we are very satisfied with the work performed by this company and pleased to see they send a technician who knows the job inside out.

If you're researching companies to repair your garage door, you needn't look further than Garage Door Specialist. I called 3 companies, the first came out and charged $99 to give me an outrageous estimate. The second never called back. This company answered immediately, sent a technician out within 4 hours who spent a 30 minutes diagnosing the problem and explained everything in detail. He quoted a fair price and had the parts to fix the door on the spot. We are very pleased with the professional service delivered and would recommend them to anyone.

Lucas, from Garage Door Specialist, did a great job A new Commercial Grade Garage door opener with a 5 year warranty was installed My Garage Door Springs, Rollers, Sensors and wiring were all replaced. Lucas adjusted my Garage Door so now I have a perfectly Aligned garage door that opens smoothly and quietly. I woke up this morning so worried about our garage door falling on our car. The builder put cheap rollers, mostly broken away from the axles, and our door was making incredible noise. I looked on NextDoor and found an incredible number of recommendations for Garage Door Specialist. I called and spoke with a kind lady who told me a tech would call me shortly. Within 15 minutes, Lucas called me and said he was finishing up an appointment and would be right over. Upon arriving, a very respectful and articulate Lucas introduced himself and quickly scoped out the door and explained what was happening with the door. He grabbed his ladder, looked everything over and explained everything he will do to repair the door. He reassured me that the door was not in bad shape but just needed new rollers and would benefit having a little more securing to the frame. His knowledge of the mechanics of the door as well as the ease he had with it's repair gave me confidence I had called the right company. The cost was extremely reasonable Lucas is a great representative of the company and has fabulous customer skills. I've dealt with other companies over the last several decades. Garage Door Specialist is heads and tails above any other. I highly recommend them!

My technician, Michael, was excellent. He removed my broken garage door opener and replaced it with a new one, and had it in working order with a new keypad in about 45 minutes. He was courteous, patient, and obviously knew his trade. I am waiting for the bottom panel of my garage door, which they will also install and I'm sure that experience will be just as impressive. I highly recommend Garage Door Specialist.

I can't explain how awesome they are!!! Called at 10:25 and Lucas was at my house by 12:00. Probably just luck but very professional from call to repair. After the call, received emails and text messages of who my technician was and estimated arrival within minutes. Then my technician, Lucas Darosa, contacted me to let me know he could come early. Diagnosed the problem very quickly. Fixed our garage and even repaired extra to make sure the problem wouldn't happen again anytime soon and explained everything along the way!!!!! Will trust no one else with my garage needs. GDS has a new loyal customer as long as they're in business!!!!!

Our garage door opener completely died on us. Tried calling a few places and either no answer or wanted to charge a $200 travel fee. Garage Door Specialist returned my call within a half hour and agreed to come out the very next morning. No charge to look at the problem. He was right on time and installed a new and better opener on the spot. Can't say enough about how great he was. Highly recommend their service.

Great!! This was my first time using this company and I was so pleased with their customer service. The tech was nice, on time, repaired quickly, communication was great. This will be by go to for any garage issues I have in the future. Came out and did the repair same day I called, which was great, because I couldn't get my car out of the garage. Our two car garage door steel hurricane proof door is always giving us trouble when I finally had enough of this monster not closing I called around, they offered a free estimate which most don't do down here. They were willing to come out to SP or STJ Plantation in 36 hours from the time we called, they replaced some parts did a full service check on the door motor etc. They called before showed up when promised, $140. Total bill with new parts 30 day guarantee very professional and trustworthy I highly recommend this company other companies were asking $185-225 just for a service call no parts so shop around ask questions before you book the company to come out most are not asking questions then are upset at the pricing after. We were extremely happy with service professionalism and work done.

I left a message for them Wed. night that we needed someone to come the first thing the next morning as I had a 9 AM doctor's appointment and would like to get my car out. They called the next morning and arrived soon after. He got the door up so I could get to my appointment and determined that the spring had broken. He replaced the spring.
