Google5My mother had a garage door installed recently and she said they were extremely friendly, courteous, and professional. The whole experience was very simple and she will definitely use them again if needed.

Google5Great locally owned business! Joel was knowledgeable and was able to fit me in the day after I called him. He called me before he arrived and showed up on time. I had an issue with my sensors which I replaced but still had issues. Joel came out and found a short in the wires between the sensors and the garage door opener. He quickly resolved the issue and even tuned up the door. Professional, friendly, quick, punctual, and locally owned! I've got a new garage door company. Thanks Joel!

Yelp5Friday afternoon, 4 o'clock... nothing like a garage door falling off the track and almost hitting you in the head... I was so upset and of course no one I had called was available until at least the next week. Lucky for me when I explained my situation to The Garage Door Company there were willing to show up that night to save the day, and my door. They made themselves available that night (after5 on a Friday at this point) and were able to get the door reattached. Extremely knowledgeable, great service, and overall awesome experience!

Yelp5My garage door is old ,so when it got off track and springs broke one afternoon I was not surprised-I was still in a tizzy because I had plumbers coming that day working on another problem in my upstairs bathroom-( when it rains it pours -yes)My son got on the phone ,and called Joel who he knew to be a really good source-To make a long story short he was there within the hour ,had my door repaired and back up !He advised me on getting a new one,gave me his card and never once tried to sell me anything or push anything on me--He is professional, very friendly, polite and just all around great at his job !Im so glad I met him & will be calling him to install my new garage door !!Call him ,as you will be glad you did!

Google5To start off I would like to say I am so grateful for Joel and his team. After contracting several garage door "experts" and facing similar issues days after work was performed, Joel and his son finally gave me an honest explanation of the doors problem and worked with me to determine a permanent solution that was within my budget. It's been about 3 weeks and my garage door finally opens 100% of the time without any trouble for the first time since I've owned this home. Could honestly not recommend anybody more then them.

Google5Joel and his folks are all about bringing customer satisfaction with prompt, quality service at a good price. When my garage door need some work, Joel gave me a couple options with thorough explanation and the cost. His crew did great work at a reasonable price.

Yelp5Had an issue with our garage door opening after the hurricane and Joel was so great to talk to on the phone and not only try to squeeze us into his busy schedule but was patient to walk me through some troubleshooting strategies to figure out what the issue was. Awesome company and would highly recommend!

Google5Joel is always professional and prompt in response to a need for any type of repair for your garage door. He is always friendly, helpful and genuinely kind. He is thorough and always makes sure he does the best service possible to maintain your garage door. He will do yearly maintainance to make sure you get the most out of your garage door. He is quick, but does high quality work that makes a difference in the life span of your garage door. He has done work for many of my family members, neighbors and friends. It is easy to feel comfortable referring Joel, because he has a high quality work ethic that I know others can rely on for their garage door needs as I do! Joel is The Garage Door Man that you can count on!

Yelp5Joel answered my email the same day and made an appointment that week; fast response. He came out and installed my garage door opener, replaced the weatherstripping, and reinforced my door to handle the conversion from being a manual door. He explained everything he was going to do, asked me where I want things placed, and explained everything when he was done. He was clear about what would be required vs what could possibly wait if I couldn't afford it. This was during COVID-19, and he was respectful about distance and wearing the mask I gave him. Overall great experience, fast and friendly service, and I highly recommend!

Yelp5We recently had to replace our garage door motor. Not wanting to spend a lot of money I purchased a new one and had our handyman install it. He installed it but couldn't get it on track so that the door would operate. I called Joel and he came out a few days later. He put the door on track, fixed the rail alignment, and corrected a cracked piece of wood in the header that could have been a major issue in the future. He also installed the new outdoor keypad and generally made sure the door was serviced. He did a great job, was very professional and a general nice guy. I would highly recommend his service if you are having issues with your garage door or are looking for assistance with a new installation.

Google5After reading countless reviews, I called several local garage door companies - save yourself some time and skip straight to this one! Joel not only answered my first call (and the 15 times I called after that with questions!), he made time to meet with me the same day! Even with his very full schedule, he always made me feel as though I was a priority. From explaining my options, pricing, ordering, installation, and payment, he made this part of our home building process the easiest decision ever! He truly went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our garage doors installation went smoothly. This is a company that genuinely cares about their customers and the products/services they provide - with Joel's professional and always friendly personality, this is the only garage door company for us!

Yelp5One day my garage door opener decided to fail... The motor worked, the door opens manually and research and calls to the manufacturer confirmed the travel limiter was out of phase. I replaced the switch and the RPM sensor. Still, the opener did not operate correctly. Inspection shows that the drive belt was missing links and needed replacement. The garage door now 15 yrs old needed to be balanced. I reach out to local garage door repair companies... two responses and one that seemed very reasonable. I made arrangements with Joel Greco of The Garage Door Company of Carolina. Joel was able to make an appointment the next day. He arrived on-time, review and inspected the door and made his recommendation. We agreed on the approach that included balancing and lubricated both garage doors, replacing the drive belt and adjusted the travel limit on both doors. Less than one hour later, I had two operating and quiet garage doors for half the quoted price from the next closest offer. Joel is fast, efficient, professional, yet friendly. He cleaned up the area and placed a sticker next to the door openers to remind me of the next date for lubrication. Joel does not advertise, relying on word of mouth and Facebook Highly recommended! Google5I didnt think a lot about my garage door until the spring broke and I couldn't get it open. Joel squeezed me into his schedule at the end of the day and he stayed until the job was done. He fixed the springs and recommended that I replace the chain due to some wear. Joel knew about a lifetime warranty for my garage door opener and ordered the part from the company for me free of charge. Once the part arrived, he came back promptly to install it in order to get the garage door running again. Joel is very knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely diligent in his work. I would go out of my way to recommend the Garage Door Company of Carolina to others so that they can have the same excellent service that I received.

Google5What an excellent small company. Joel did an excellent job recommending and installing new doors and openers. He and his team were diligent in removing and disposing of the old doors and cleaned up the site. I would highly recommend this company for any garage door project you have.
