The lady answering the phone was very nice and very helpfull. Though this one guy was very rude when talking to him and very condescending. He promised getting garage doors done and showing up personally, but no luck on that. Will go with another business.

Awesome experience!! Carolina bailed us out after another local garage door company fed us lies after lies about fulfilling our order. Greg at Carolina provided incredible response and communication - went above and beyond to help us out. The doors arrived on the date as promised and were installed the next day in a professional manner - in barely over 3 weeks from the initial order. I highly recommend them for your garage door needs!

Couldn't be happier with the finished product! We'd been making do for years with an old door opener that was not always dependable, and pretty noisy, but we were kind of used to it. We finally decided that we could invest in something better. Called up Carolina Garage Door company and got an on-site consult, looking at all the options of repairing ours versus replacing. We decided to get a Linear 863, and on Friday morning it was installed pretty quickly. It's so nice to have a garage door that performs like new. I didn't know what I was missing. It was well worth the investment; we're really happy with it, and the great customer service too! These folks made it easy.

Excellent company and great customer service! I recently bought a home that is equipped with a garage from this company. Had a minor issue with some sagging parts and they came out within a week to repair. Most recently, I noticed the bracket bolted to the ceiling came loose and was making all sorts of noises. Called them up and they made the necessary repairs within 3 days!! They also talked me through on the phone on how to program the keypad. Great company do not hesitate to call them for anything!

Had great service on 07/27/2022. Called them and about thirty minutes later the Technician arrived.Two hours later a new opener was installed and the door works like new.I would highly recommend Carolina Garage Door to any one needing service.

I contacted Carolina Garage Door by phone on the morning of November 22, 2021 to inquire about having the bottom section for one of my C.H.I garage doors replaced that had been damaged a day earlier. I spoke with Greg G***** ( President of CGD ) and I explained my situation with the damaged door section and I provided him with the door model, style, and color, etc. so he could provide a quote for replacement. Greg have me his cell phone # and asked me to text him photos of the damaged door, which I did within minutes, then I waited the rest of that day for him to get back to me and I never heard from him again. The next day I called the store again and this time I spoke Jason. I explained to him that I had called the day before and spoke with Greg and provided all of my information but never heard back from him. Jason said Greg was not around and they had no record of my call the day prior so he asked that I start over and explain what happened and what I needed, etc.. Jason took all my information and verified my email address and said he would be emailing me a form to complete and return to get the new door section ordered. To this day I have am still waiting, never heard back from either of them. They were helpful as could be when they were selling the doors when our home was built but now that we needed their help with service after the sale we were completely blown off, TWICE. There are plenty of other nearby business that provide the same products and services that are more reliable, friendly, and eager to help than this bunch. I took the time to write this review with the hope that others will read this and think twice before doing business with these people..

Since moving to Winston-Salem we have had nothing but bad experiences and bad luck with contractors. This was until we contracted out Carolina Garage Door for a garage door replacement/service. This was the best company we have ever hired and would do it again a million times. Greg is extremely friendly, the service techs who came out were nice, friendly, and personable. We called on Wednesday to have someone come look at our garage door. Greg came out Thursday, and then on Friday a team came out with the replacement and installation. This is the BEST company we have ever worked with. I 110% recommend them to anyone!!

Great service and follow through! We recently updated and upgraded our older garage doors using Carolina Garage Door. They did a fantastic job and we are very pleased with our new doors. The doors are high quality, energy efficient, and much more attractive. We chose black doors to match our shutters. The motors are fast and quiet. We highly recommend Greg and team! Great experience having my garage door replaced. They were courteous and consistent. I picked it out online, they installed it, and hauled the old one + tracks away. It was a great value for the money. It is super quiet and a huge improvement over my old wooden garage door. Much easier and better than dealing with the big box stores !

Micah came to my home promptly. I originally wanted repair work done, but when he quoted me the price on new doors, I decided to go that route. It took a while to get the doors due to Covid-19 delays, but as soon as they came, he scheduled the work, it was performed in 1 day, great job, nice looking quality doors and lifters. The job wasn’t finished. 👎🏼 I asked Greg to close up my garage bc my current door had gaps on the side. I was having a problem with bugs and birds getting in. The exterminator said it would eventually be mice and snakes! I expressed that my MAIN concern was getting the sides of the door sealed. He charged me $1,000 and I STILL have gaps on the sides!! My main problem remains. I contacted the owner with no luck in getting what I paid for. Very disappointed. Services Rendered: Seal garage door

We had Carolina Garage Door do a service visit and replace the all the rubber gaskets and bottom gasket of the garage door. The door functions MUCH quieter and the rubber gakets have solved the problem with water entering the garage when raining. Nick did an outstanding job. Would highly recommend this company for any garage door service needs.

Excellent. I have an unusual garage door entrance in my old 1940s home that is anything but standard. Several other contractors told me that I would need additional work done to make the garage door possible (that is additional framing in of my garage door). I did have to have additional framing in, but Greg was the only person who said I would need less framing (frame down 3 inches instead of 6 which is what others were quoting). His price was also the most fair. Once the door came in, they came out here and installed it very quickly and professionally, and it now works great! I started out by having three estimates done and also compared prices and installation to local major chains. Went with Carolina Garage Doors. The estimate was made within 1 day. Greg came out and was very professional and was able to quickly make some notes and recommendations. He took some exterior pictures and followed up with a nice graphic rendition of what the garage door including color I selected would look like installed on the house. My original doors were wooden and had seen better days rotting from inside out. The old openers were older screw drives and I know now they were pretty much earth shakers when they opened. I liked that Greg was not pushing or up-selling anything and instead offered ways to save on cost by reusing old openers , tracks , etc. I made the choice for a complete install replacement including openers. The installation team showed up on time as scheduled and the installation was done quick and professionally. I am a bit of a DIY type so noticed about everything done was quality - extra details in the quality rollers, heavier gauge hinges and stiffeners , ties on wiring , etc they went to to make it a very clean install. I went with the CHI doors and new Linear belt drive openers. The operation is smooth and super quiet. I highly recommend Carolina Garage Doors if your looking for a no hassle professional installation backed up with prompt local service. Services Rendered: Replaced two garage doors and openers

Live person answered the business phone - said there would be a workman at my house that day. Workman arrived within 90 minutes. Quickly went to work, pointed out how to recognize when springs are getting old. Completed work in a little over an hour. Made a minor adjustment to a second door at no charge. While not cheap, the total seemed fair. Both doors operated quieter and smoother. Services Rendered: Replaced 20 yr old springs, adjusted door.

I did not get any other estimates since Carolina Garage Door had installed the door in 2008. When I complained about the $350.00 cost the repairman called his "manager" and who said there was no longer any warranty on the work they had done. I had no choice but to write the check even though I felt $350.00 was unreasonable for the time involved and the job that was done I am writing this review after reading todays offer for the same work I had done (and even more) which is much lower than I paid. As I thought, I was grossly overcharged! By the way that check was teller cashed before I could turn around. Services Rendered: Replaced broken spring.
