One morning they showed up to see what needs to be done; next day they showed up with the required materials and finished the job in reasonable time. The office staff was also responsive and polite. One star less for NOT sending the quote (which they said they would send) prior to starting the work. Overall a good experience.

FIVE stars for The Overhead Door Co.'s service! What a great experience. I was able to quickly get an appt. (thanks, Kathy!) and Nick, my technician, was awesome. He showed up on time, provided excellent service and even offered some tips for maintaining my garage door opener. The price was reasonable for a "house call" so I am beyond pleased. Thanks to everyone at The Overhead Door Co.!

Absolutely the best service! We had a spring break on the garage door and could not close the door after nearly 20 years of use. Service was here in a matter of an hour and the technician was fantastic, honest and thorough. All companies should be as reliable, pleasant and efficient as this office. Thank you Overhead of Worcester!

The service provided by the technician was outstanding! My door would no longer close unless I disabled the photoelectric sensors. Within minutes of his arrival, the technician diagnosed the problem and promptly went about installing a "new set of eyes" for the door. The door, once again, performed flawlessly. I also found it hard to believe that the door was installed twenty years ago!

From what I understand, this business is under new ownership. The new owner's name is Jeff, I believe. Nice fellow. Anyway, I called them to service the garage door opener that was in my house when I bought it. They sent a guy over, who "tried" to fix it, and for whatever reason, did or could not. So then he offered to sell me a "refurbished" unit instead of a new one at a discounted rate, with a one year warranty. I appreciate saving a few bucks, so I went for it. Skip ahead to two months later, and the unit won't work. The door opens but refuses to close. I call the guy that put it in to make good on that one year warranty, and his phone isn't working. I called, texted, and couldn't get in touch with him. Peeved, I called the company back and tried to track down the guy. He had been fired, apparently, and he'd been up to no good with other customers. Yikes. So, now I'm stuck with a machine that I don't know where it actually came from, it's broken, and I've already spent $$ to try and resolve the problem, and not really up for buying another new one. The following is why these folks get a 5 star rating from me. I called, and ended up speaking to someone in the Leominster office, and gave them all the history. I wasn't sure what, if anything, they could or would do, but I didn't know what else to try, so I talked to them and told them what happened. Someone called me later from the Worcester location called me and told me that they were going to take care of me, and send a tech out to my house and to fix the machine (which was probably stolen from them). Honestly - who does that??!?! Like nobody! I really appreciated that they cared THAT much about their relationship with me to go the extra five miles. Skip ahead, skip ahead - the machine is fixed, and a very wrong was turned into a very right. I'll happily refer and do business with them for years to come. This was exemplary treatment, in a situation that wasn't that great for them, and where they didn't HAVE to do anything for me. Thumbs way up.

In late June I called Overhead Door Co. of Worcester to arrange for someone to come to my home for an estimate on installation of two garage doors. The next day a polite man came and showed my wife and me several options that they offered and gave us the sales pitch about why they were the best around. My wife and I told him what styles and colors we liked and he left us with his card and a written estimate. We talked later and after some disappointing phone calls to other companies in the area I called their office in Worcester and told them I would be there later in the day to make a deposit, as I work nearby. Before going I remembered an old coupon that I had in a folder of future home improvement ideas that I keep. I took the" limited time offer" coupon not really expecting much from it and showed it at the office, making my plea that " it was old and if anything could be done that would be great". The man at the office would see what the salesman said and let me know. Again, this was after I had already agreed to the original estimate. I got a call at the end of the day telling me he would rewrite the estimate minus the 5% off the steel insulated doors mentioned in the coupon that was at least 2 years old-probably more. He then told me that he would be able to get the window style in the color we had hoped for. He had first told us that could not be done. It meant we would have to wait a little longer for the doors to come in but we were in no hurry ( we've been putting this off for two years- another week or two would not hurt). On the first Monday in August we got a call telling us that the doors were in and could be installed on Thursday if that was good for us. We said "Yes" and they were there right when they said they would be. Two more hours on Friday to finish up and they were done. While there are cheaper prices out there I felt like going with a national company that's been around along time would pay off and I'm very glad I did. Our new garage doors are beautiful, function perfectly and I don't wake up the neighborhood every time I open or close my garage doors. In fact, I still have to watch to be sure it works because they are that quiet. Services Rendered: Two garage doors (1 car each) were ordered, recieved at their facility and installed at my home. Old garage doors were removed and hauled away.

They were good. They came out when they said they would. I asked the person who came out what was the warranty for the springs, and he said they did not warranty it and that it could break anytime. I wasn't too thrilled with that one person. He wasn't pleasant, but then that was just one person. Overhead Door is a franchise. Services Rendered: I used Overhead Door to install all the garage doors in the condo where I live. They replaced the springs for the doors.
