They didn't show up for the appointment. Called them up, they said they'd be out in an hour. Didn't show up, again. No calls, nothing. Wasted half a day waiting for them. Terrible service
We have had good success in the past with Dependable Garage Door in Yakima, and have used them at more than one location. However, this past June I needed them to come and fix our garage door opener. The technician was great, very helpful and knowledgeable. However, we're now in October, and I still don't have a working garage door opener. They were supposed to have ordered a capacitor in June, and each time I've called them I was told it would be 2 more weeks. Now I understand all about the supply chain problem affecting parts arrival, etc. My problem with Dependable Garage Door is that they have been terrible at communicating with me. I've called them every 2 weeks, and each time was told the same thing - it'll be another 2 weeks. The last 2 times I called I asked what it would cost to just replace the entire door opener instead of waiting for the part, and each time I was told "just give it 2 more weeks." Twice in the last 2 weeks I've left messages on their machine, and neither time did they return my call. I can't even get a quote on a new garage door opener. I'm going to give them one more week, and if the part doesn't arrive and no one calls to give me a quote on a replacement opener, then I'll have no other choice but to go to another company. I really don't understand what has happened to them because they were always so good in the past.
Dependable did a great job for one of my customers. they showed up on time and charged a fair price. I will continue to use them in the future
They showed up and gave me quote. repratedly made appointments to do the job, 3 times no call no show. Edit: these guys are so disorganized. They never showed up to do the work. I gave the job to Overhead Garage Door of Yakima who did the work same day. They call me saying I have a balance 2 months later. What a joke.
New to the state and had our home broken into last night. Police officer recommended this company. Wow. They were wonderful. They we do kind and made sure we felt safe again. Thank you

I called Dependable to get a garage door repaired. They showed up and found a few things that needed to be fixed. Renter told them to call me. I did not hear from them so I called and left a message wanting to get the door fixed. No response. I then called them a week later and the owner was out of town and would call me the next morning. I did not want to wait any longer so I went with another local company. They came out and fixed it on the spot! A very easy fix.
I bought a new Genie garage door opener from them in 1998 and it has worked perfectly for all these years. When I needed service, it was because I had messed up the controls. The repairman came right away and made it all better! Very nice people. I also bought a new garage door from them a few years ago because the one I had purchased from the big box store came apart. The new garage door is smoother, quieter, and visibly better built than the other one. I definitely recommend this company.
