I was very satisfied with the prompt service I received. When raising my wooden garage door it came loose and fell off its track. It was hanging diagonally. I stopped by their office to ask for help. They had someone there within the hour to take care of it.

They do not honor their "90 day warranty policy". We had them come out and thought the issue was resolved. About a month later, it stopped working again. We called and they said they would come back out with no charge since they warrant their work for 90 days. They came back and sure enough we got a bill because "they found something different this time". They didn't fix it correctly the first time then came back to charge us again. When we called about the bill, they pretty much told us too bad we still owe them. We will not use this business again in the future.

Recently had these guys out to check on a garage door I have that was buckling in the center. This company was easy enough to work with, polite, etc. The tech was on time and polite. Unfortunately they decided they could not and would not try to fix it. Well I'm leaving this review to let them know that Smith Overhead Door Service actually fixed it in an hour with a single replacement strut and straightened up some crooked pieces. Seems like a decent enough company, but if you need a simple repair to hold you over, you might consider looking elsewhere.

I have no idea what changed but I called this business due to their high ratings and it's single-handedly one of the worst experiences I've had to deal with this year. Door ordered and 60% paid late May - UP TO 8 weeks for delivery. 8 weeks come and go with no updates or communication from the company - then comes the massive delays, lack of communication, broken promises and just the honest runaround. Just installed October after almost 20 weeks of headache (plus they left a message at 9pm they'd be there at 8am to install - really guys?) - glad to be done with them and won't be doing business again...buy at your own risk.

The Technician was awesome! Very knowledgeable and experienced. He arrived 15 minutes after I called to make the appointment! He changed 2 broken garage door springs in 40 minutes. I Highly Recommend Central Ohio Garage Door. They're honest, professional and experienced.

Terrible. 8 week process took close to 20 weeks with 0 follow up, terrible communication, broken promises and flat out lies…20 weeks and $3500 in and I finally have a door with no trim - and apparently noone there knows about door trim - do yourself a favor and call the next guy…. Central Ohio Garage Door was great to work with. They were fast, friendly and very reasonable price. They came out and reset my garage door quickly. It was not installed properly by original company who wouldn't come fix it. Thank goodness for Central Ohio Garage Door, who fixed someone else mistake. All while communicating with me about details through the process.

Bad. During the initial visit he quickly diagnosed the problem. A piece was about to break off of the opener and the opener would need to be replaced. He quoted me a price on a specific model and came back several days later to install it. He showed up with a different model that he quoted me. I specifically wanted a 3/4 HP and the one he came with was only a 1/2 HP. Both the installer and the owner of the company told me the model they were supposed to originally bring was only a 1/2 hp. I showed them pages from my internet research that said it was a 3/4 HP. The owner said it was a misprint. I had another company install the model I wanted at a cheaper price and it is a 3/4 HP! Services Rendered: Garage door opener making a loud noise.

the garage door (not the powered opener) was binding and generally not working as it should. They corrected all the problems with that door and then went on to the other door to make sure it, too, was working properly. Nice fellow, very helpful. Would definitely use again. I called at 9am on a Friday. They were at our home by 11am and the work was done by noon. Charles was the technician at our home and he was very knowledgeable and nice. He explained & showed me exactly what happened and needed replaced. Very quick and efficient. Services Rendered: Garage Door wouldn't open. They replaced both springs (1 had broken) with a higher quality spring which reduced noise.
