Yelp5A special thank you to Bryce and Gregg for such great service. This was a huge job and they were on time every day, did major clean up before they left and completed the job in less time. I highly recommend Quality Insulation and will tell others of your great service!

Yelp5Dustin and Tommy did an amazing job on our insulation. Great quality of work. Took the time to explain the process and very happy with their attention to detail.

Yelp5Guy and Glen were great. They explained everything about the Mass Save weatherization program that was not explained to me prior. Any questions or suggestions were answered or done without any argument or moaning. I have used Quality Insulation (another name they go by) for years while was active in new construction, and any criticism or suggestion was addressed and resolved with no resistance. The company, and especially Guy and Glen are personable, polite, friendly, and always pleasant, especially considering how hard the job they are doing is. I would hire them again without question.

Yelp2Can't really review the service they provide, as they never sent me a quote despite multiple emails and calls.

Yelp5I just had a full house insulation project done by Steve and Dustin. They did an amazing job and did it being polite and thorough. Foam sealed every crack. Blew in the insulation in the attic. While on that, insulated my sky light, found a disconnected bath fan vent and reattached it, installed knee wall insulation. I checked the attic after they did it - it was a job really well done. Walls - every between-studs-cavity was filled with insulation and you can tell the house is much quiter and warmer now. Insulated all the doors and attic access doors. I'm supper happy with their job, shout out to Dustin and Steve. Oh and while they worked, they had a job site radio playing Beatles. That was an extra bonus ;-)

Yelp5Comms screw up on both ends. They ended up with best quote, by a lot. Crew did a phenom job on install, even added some flashing that wasn't in original quote. Fast and efficient.

Yelp3I've had a decent experience with Quality Insulation. I've used them for gutter and insulation installs. Although it's fair to say that I have had to make sure that I follow up with their sales staff for quotes and appointments, the actual the work that their company has done has been good. Other people in my community have spoken highly of the company and their work for me has proven that out.

Yelp5I have to say I went into adding insulation to our attic with mixed feelings. I was wary after reading reviews on Yelp, however, based on the recommendation of a trusted contractor friend, I went ahead and contacted Quality Insulation. Mike Russell got in touch with me the very next day. We set up an appointment for an assessment and estimate for the following day. He arrived right on time, was very cordial and professional. He said I would either receive a written quote by email either that same day, or the next day at the latest. The next day it was there and for about $300 less than I expected. We were fortunate that they had a cancellation and were able to get a crew to us today rather than a 10-15 day wait Mike had anticipated. Darryn and Steve showed up ten minutes early today, introduced themselves, both very friendly and professional. They got right to work and were completed almost two hours sooner than anticipated. Steve took the time to fix the trim and the access panel, adhering insulation foam to it as well as adding a handle for increased ease and convenience. The attic looks great, I am VERY pleased at how efficient and painless the whole process was and would highly recommend this company and this team of workers!

Yelp1Pretty fucking sad the Steve Bensen should be working for this place because he doesn't know the word Quality means , and he doesn't know his job he screwed us over and it's more money now to do the job right your people could do the job because you didn't do your but fuck the customer and charge more for your mistakes. Pretty sad when the installers tell Steve we should have to pay more for this but not to Steve he thinks the almighty dollar in his pocket . As far as family working together he should be , hearing along of problems with quotes from Steve Bensonthe guys should have to be scared to do his dirty work but Franks no good right Frank , I will get the word out to people has to how you people don't really know the word QUALITY it says on all your truck T-shirt's , the worst company

Yelp1If you don't have time to read this long review I will sum it up for you. If you are considering using this Company, you would be better off going to the ATM, withdrawing $100, burning it, punching yourself in the face, and then calling someone else who actually knows what they are doing. It's hard to imagine how this customer experience could be worse. Here's my story. I own a 1920s home with a single car garage. The door is an original wood door from the 40s, and I want to replace it with a modern but matching steel insulated door. There are some complications associated with the installation but nothing crazy. So I ask my contractor friend and he refers me to "TruTeam" here in Massachusetts who apparently has provided and installed garage doors for him before. Tim is my point of contact, starting in early December of 2017. After much back and forth, Tim assures me he understands exactly what to order. He declines to come out and actually do the measurements, but is convinced what he has conceived will work. He tells me he has placed the order, but doesn't ask for a deposit or anything. I assume this is because I came through a trusted referral, which makes sense. I trusted them on the strength of that referral, that was a mistake. Quality Insulation and TruTeam are the same Company, and Quality Insulation out of Nashua is where they do garage doors out of. Why they allow the install sales guy whose territory is this part of Massachusetts to sell things he doesn't know anything about, which a completely separate division actually installs is beyond me. Fast forward two months. Numerous texts, emails, phone calls answered with "oh yeah, the door is on the way" or "yep, should be here tomorrow." Finally, he decides.... wait for it. They actually NEVER ordered it! This should have been a big enough red flag to stop me in my tracks, but apparently I am a glutton for punishment. I decide that since he already has the measurements and the price seems fair, he can just (actually) order it this time. Across my desk comes the two page contract, except apparently the salespeople for TruTeam in Massachusetts don't actually do garage doors, they use their sister company out of Nashua to order and do the work - Quality Insulation. Of course, I didn't understand any of this at the outset. Alas, I leave the deposit they ask for on my credit card, knowing I can dispute the charge if the incompetence of the first interactions is even remotely indicative of the overall incompetence of the Company (it is, and thank god I did). But I digress. The door comes in and they schedule the install for April 20. Keep in mind now, I started this process in December 2017 and it's almost May of 2018! and I use the term "schedule" very loosely here, basically Tim texted me and said "April 20" did not specify any time, did not call or text to confirm, and basically did nothing to actually coordinate the install. I text him multiple times to be sure they are coming because I need to stay home from work. I stay home from work all day, I hear nothing. 3pm rolls around - 7 phone calls later (yes that's right, 7 phone calls) and they tell me they can't get to my house until Monday. I say nope - either it goes in today or it doesn't go in at all, you aren't wasting another full day of work. Thankfully I did that, because it lit a fire under them to come and do the install that afternoon. BUT.... I know this is going to shock you. They had ordered the wrong size door, the wrong door design, and brought no door hardware. Also, the equipment they contemplated using was incorrectly conceived. I wondered aloud if this was possibly because they declined to ACTUALLY come out and measure and look at the job prior to agreeing to do it? Despite my telling them I think that's a good idea? The guys who came out to do the install are basically like -- wow. None of this will work, we need to order all new stuff and start from scratch. They measured, looked at everything and said someone would call me that afternoon to apologize and make sure a replacement door could be ordered and installed at a discount ASAP. Guess what? No phone calls, haven't heard a thing. Left messages, no response. I disputed the charge on my card and will now do what I should have done from the beginning -- use one of the several highly reputable well reviewed local people who do this type of work.
