Google1Bad experience. The top panel on one of our garage doors split and shattered glass. "Dependable" Technician came out, didn't fix anything, told us the doors and motors were too old, quoted us $3k for new doors, charged us $150 and didn't fix anything. We got a second opinion from Manny's. Technician fixed our door. Installed support brace to fix split, installed new sensor, loosened spring, greased the chain. Charged us $150. The door opens and closes smoothly and silently. Needless to say we will be going with Manny for our future needs.

Google1I had 2 garage door openers installed by Dependable Garage Doors on 3/11/2022 and I leave feeling like they really didn't care about me in the end. The installation process itself went smoothly and the garage door doors worked great. However, shortly after the installation was complete, I noticed that one of the doors kept retracting on its own after about 2 weeks. I contacted the company and they sent someone out right away to try and fix the problem. The person that came was pleasant, but really couldn't pinpoint out anything wrong with the door, as the garage door was persisting with this same problem. He did get it to work after about 30 minutes and it worked for a few days after he left. Before he left he said it "could" be the garage door rollers causing this to happen, because there has to be resistance from the door going down and causing it to retract. The price to change the rollers were $200. I asked if this would resolve the issue and he didn't confirm it would solve this issue, so I passed on having it done. So unfortunately, they were unable to find any issues and the problem persisted after only a few days. And I knew it couldn't be the rollers because the garage door opener that I previously had on before this one was installed never retracted once in the 6 years, I've owned my home. So as a homeowner trying to save myself money, I ordered new rollers and installed them myself to save some money. It was a very easy install for me because I felt comfortable doing it. After this, as I suspected, the rollers were not causing this issue. So, I called Dependable Garage doors and I connected with Eli the owner to tell them him the problem still persisted, and I think it may be a wiring problem somewhere. He insisted it was not a wiring issue, and they checked all connections. He then said its most likely your rollers. So I told him I installed new ones myself. And at that point his whole attitude was a different. He told me and I quote "why are you even calling me it seems like you know what you're doing" and a few other rude gestures. Just because I installed my own garage door rollers. He refused to come back to try to resolve the issue after about a 10 minute conversation. So it would be a $150 charge to look at it again. Basically, leaving me as the customer behind and not a great feeling after never fixing the initial issue. I was frustrated and felt like the company wasn't taking my concerns seriously. After doing some troubleshooting on my own, I eventually discovered that the issue "was" actually a wiring problem. It was the connection from the garage door motor head to the sensors. The connection was loose the top of the motor head. So I connected it better myself and there were no more issues for the last 10 months. I'm glad I didn't waste $200 doing the rollers they recommended because that would be money out of the door. I was disappointed that the company hadn't been able to identify this themselves, or maybe they even knew it was, and it was a quick upsell? But at least I was able to get it resolved myself. Thanks Eli :) Overall, I would say that the installation itself was good, but the follow-up service left a lot to be desired. If you choose to use this company, just be aware that if any issues arise good luck.

Google5Dependable Garage Doors are highly commutative, fast and professional. The tech came out on a Sunday for a quote & later for a follow up. The doors look great. I've received many compliments on them.

Google5Dependable Garage recently installed a garage door on our house. The door was old and was badly in need of a facelift. Eli the owner is very professional and ready to answer all questions. The quality of the work was excellent. Eli's crew showed up on time, they were professional in every way and once the work was completed, they left the jobsite in immaculate condition. We are totally pleased with the work that was done and would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone needing garage door repair or installation work. I would definitely use them again.

Google5These folks were great to work with and very professional. I have a 100-year old barn that already had two garage doors, but they had been broken for years and needed to be replaced. Manager Eli came by to assess the situation and clearly explained my options. Less than two weeks later the installers Matt and Jimmy came to put in the new doors. Since the barn is so old, it was not a standard installation, but Matt figured out exactly what was needed and stuck with it until the job was completed to his satisfaction and mine, at no extra charge. The new garage doors look great and work perfectly!

Google5This company was so professional polite and accurate with their work. Eli, Was very honest and upfront, had an installer come the next day, named Jim, a very hard worker and very professional. Would recommend this company for any type of garage door installation or repairs. Today it's very hard to get reliable hard workers! Picked them out of a list online, did I get lucky. also, thank you Ever for coming by and Helping out, we appreciate it. Karen & Stephen.

Google5Where can I start?! When I called Dependable Garage Doors I was greeted by a very nice individual who helped me understand the steps in need to take to get my 3 doors replaced. After making an appointment for a free consultation they had many available time options and were very flexible with my busy schedule. They even offered to come after 7PM when I finish work. When they came to the house the confirmed my appointment 30 minutes before and of course in the most professional matter possible! After discussing our options. The sales person showed us tons of brochures, pamphlets and pictures of his previous jobs. Me and my wife were amazed. He even offered to take us a few blocks down to one of his customers and talk to them and see how they feel about them. However that was not needed! We gave them the job and they came within less then a week at 7AM sharp they showed up with 2 trucks and 4 guys to do the work. They were meticulous, clean and very respectful of the work area. At about 4-5 PM they were completely finished. 4 guys did 3 garage doors in less than a day, now that is what I called professionals! This transaction was very smooth and easy even when I heard some stories about other companies Dependable Garage Doors were great. Highly highly recommend and definitely a 5 star review. I even told them I will hire them very soon to do my commercial building metal roll up doors as well. Thank you again guys!!

Google10 Star- December 2018 we purchased the garage door on the left from Dependable GDS. The company ordered the garage door after visiting our house.The garage doesn't not match (color, shaped windows and panels).We asked the owner to correct the problem or give us a refund. Now the owner will not respond to calls, text messages or certified letter.
