We just moved into our home and have never had a garage door with automatic openers before. The car remotes worked fine for the first month and then suddenly, both remotes wouldn't work. I replaced the batteries and they still didn't work. I searched Angie's list for a company that services garage doors and contacted GARAGE DOORS UNLIMITED INC because they are nearby. The phone was answered immediately. He was at an appointment and said he would call back. He called back within a very short window of time. I explained the issue to him and he explained that we had likely pressed the button on the wall unit garage door opener shutting off the radio frequency that allows the remotes to work. He instructed me on how to fix the issue. I just tried it and it worked immediately. It is rare to get customer service where people actually call back when they say that they will, but even more rare when someone is willing to solve a problem over the phone and not make any money. When we have future garage door service needs we will not hesitate to contact GARAGE DOORS UNLIMITED INC. Services Rendered: He provided me with a solution to an issue that we have been having with our garage door for over a month. He was able to identify the issue over the phone and provide instructions on how to resolve it.
